Home visits

Therapy delivered in the place your child knows best. Home visits are ideal for supporting real-life toileting routines, setting up equipment, and building skills in a familiar environment. This is a way for Therapist’s to build rapport and engage in play with children to build trust to optimise success. These appointments allow for physical assessment (including real time ultrasound), posture and breathing review, direct face to face education, and personalised continence planning.

School visits

Discreet, collaborative support within your child’s school. This may include observation (with consent), speaking with teachers/education assistants/relevant school personnel and assisting with toileting management plans to ensure your child is comfortable during the school day.

About
Continence Buddy

My name is Cassie and I’m your child’s continence buddy! I’m passionate about supporting children and families to overcome continence challenges with compassion, expertise, and practical guidance.

As a physiotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence and Pelvic Health), I understand how significantly bladder and bowel issues can affect a child and adolescent’s wellbeing, confidence, and participation at home, school, and in the community. My approach is gentle, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practice.

I work in partnership with families to make continence care simple, achievable, and empowering. Every child is unique, so every plan is completely tailored — whether we’re working together online, at school, or in your home.

My goal is to help children build skills for long-term health and independence as they grow — especially for those adolescent’s moving into adult services.

My approach:

  • Child-centred and strengths-based

  • Judgment-free and neurodiversity-affirming

  • Evidence-informed continence care

  • Collaborative with families, schools, and health teams

  • Focused on long-term independence and body confidence.
